Find your wedding personality with celebrity inspiration
While we all want to be unique on our wedding day, let’s face it, we all need to take inspiration from somewhere. Who better to pinch ideas from than celebrity brides, says Laura Terry

Are you a Jordan or a Carrie? Or perhaps you think you’re more of a Gwen Stefani.
Thinking about the styles of the celebrities as they walk down the aisle can really help you in planning the perfect wedding day. After all, they’ve probably had the benefit of wedding planners and stylists, so it’s not surprising they look amazing.
We show you how to copy their style even if you don’t have their budget. Only difficulty is … which celebrity bride do you want to be?
1. Carrie Bradshaw: The quirky bride
We all saw the sneak-peak photos and marvelled at the thought of our beloved Carrie getting married, but it wasn’t until the SATC film arrived on the big screen that we all finally realised the full truth of it … Carrie was wearing a dead bird on her head!
Well, she’s a quirky one. After the initial shock of it, the fact that she choose to, ahem, accessorise her stunning Vivienne Westwood dress in a slightly different way to the standard bride just made us love her all the more.
If you’re a bit adventurous like Carrie, why not give some wacky hair accessories and outlandish shoes a go on your big day?
We love these fantastically high turquoise lace up heels from Office, £90, and Marks & Spencer’s faux feather headband, £18, which can be your ’something blue’, is perfect for emulating Carrie’s crazy style.

Zoe Ball: The natural beauty bride
It’s a rare breed of celebrity who chooses to let her natural beauty shine through on her wedding day, but we reckon Zoe Ball fits this stereotype perfectly.
Rocking a simple white dress and floral wreath in her hair, Zoe played down her wedding look with minimal make-up and no jewellery, which made her look almost angelic on the big day.
To get Zoe’s natural look, why not try Benefit’s ‘Hello Flawless’ foundation that gives a nice sheer finish in at £24.50 and to replicate Zoe’s cute floral headband, check out Monsoon’s gorgeous selection of flower accessories starting at £5 each, like this buttercup double flower clip.

Katie Price: The look at me bride
What can we say about Katie Price’s wedding that hasn’t already been commented on?
Well, not a great deal really.
Everything from the massive pink dress, tiara, and Cinderella-inspired carriage all gave away Katie’s character – she likes people to look at her, a lot.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as all brides love to be centre of attention on their wedding day, don’t they?
If you want to emulate a princess on your big day like Katie, opt for a fairytale tiara like this one from Fairylicious in at £70, and to get massive lashes like Ms Price sported on her first big day, give Girls With Attitude’s fake ones a go for only £4.50.

Princess Diana: The Classic Bride
Granted, there aren’t many people who champion this look anymore, but we utterly adored Diana’s puffy David and Elizabeth Emanuel creation from 1980.
The lovely pearl colour, the massive shoulders and frilly collar makes Diana the epitome of a classic bride; beautiful and not afraid to try new things.
Diana’s gorgeous flawless make-up turned heads on her wedding day, so to capture her look opt for a simple lipstick like Max Factor’s English Rose (£7.99) to compliment your ‘classic’ look on your big day, and sweep kohl eyeliner on your inner and outer lids (try Gosh in black, £4.50).

Gwen Stefani: The Hippie Bride
The lovely Gwen Stefani opted for a silk dip-dye Dior dress on her wedding day, shunning the traditional all white look for a pink tinged trail.
The one shoulder design was also a bit ahead of its time, and as for the rock quiff- well let’s just say Gwen wasn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd and be herself on her big day. Glam Rock – we love it!
To recreate Gwen’s look on a smaller scale opt for a cute dip-dye mini-dress for your reception party, or even for your bridesmaids. Very has a great dip dye dress in stock at the moment by Joe Browns – at just £36 it’d be a great budget option for your bridesmaids if you’re planning a beach wedding! If that’s not your cup of tea, then why not channel Gwen’s hippy style with some diamante hair clips and a rockabilly quiff instead. Check out Accessorize’s beautiful vintage-style hair clips, priced at £10 for a set of 3.
