Katie Price’s new babywear collection launches
She’s done equestrian clothing, best-selling fiction, perfume and even a bit of singing, and now Katie Price has launched her own baby-wear range.
The Page 3 girl turned business woman has launched KP BABY on her own e-tail site www.KPBaby.co.uk.
Katie told us she’s very excited about the launch.
“I’ve been working on it for a long time so it’s great to finally see finished garments. We’ve spent a lot of time making sure that the clothes are as comfortable as possible for babies to wear. For example, there aren’t any labels at the back of the neck, there are special internal seams in the feet to stop toe-nails catching and the all-in-ones have slip-resistant crowns on the soles.”
And as you would expect with anything coming from Katie, there are lots of glamorous little touches to the detailing – silver embroidered logos and trims, diamanté embroidery, organza ribbons and ties, silver-edged frills – oh, and pink. Lots of pink!
There are 18 pieces in the launch collection and include velour all-in-ones (£18), a velour short sleeve romper suit (£15), a ballet wrap and pants set (£20), a swing top and leggings set (£15), a signature print sleep suit (£15), a signature print blanket (£25), bibs (£5 for 2), booties (£5 for 2 pairs), hats (£5 for 2). A variety of gift sets are also available at £35 and come in a fabulous window gift box. The colour range is white, pink and begonia pink. The first collection is for girls but a boys’ range will be added in the autumn.
