Danetti: a shrine for chic contemporary furniture
When you’re a student, Ikea is all very well and good, but when you want your furniture to be that little bit more up-market (and not to be instantly recognisable as a flat pack with an unpronounceable name) then you might need to broaden your horizons.
This is where Danetti comes in handy. It’s a contemporary furniture store that stocks only high quality European designs, and has hundreds of products available online – many of which will make you swoon and rush to get your credit card.
The price points are above those you’ll find at Ikea (although you can still pick up chairs for under £50, so it’s not only for the loaded).
Personally, we love the company’s range of bar stools – they’re quirky and fun, and great for creating a private cocktail bar at home. Yes, you do need a private cocktail bar at home, despite what your other half says. It’s a basic.
