Imagine You Tube, only totally devoted to DIY projects, and you’ll have the right idea about this site. Whether you need to know how to use a drill properly, or how to hang your fancy wallpaper, this site has a video that’ll show you.It even tells you how to do your own plumbing and wiring, but we’re leaving that to the experts.
We like the 3D room paint selector tool on here – you can actually see all the different paints used on ceilings, walls and paintwork in a real room, which makes it easier to imagine what it will look like in you own home. And you can order samples of the paint on the site and find design and trend information too.
On the Homes section of the BBC website you can listen again to their radio and TV homes output, and find tips and articles on things like putting together a mood board and how to pack when you’re moving. All in all a nice site for wasting an afternnon on!
