score some brownie points
As far as we can remember the only thing that was worth eating in our school canteen was the brownies. Warm, melted gooeyness cheered us all up on many a rainy lunchtime.
Since this summer seems to be a bit of a washout, we’ve been thinking fondly about those brownies.

As well as being a nice treat for yourself, if you’re feeling especially selfless, these also make a great present. Crumbly on the outside, unbelievably moist on the inside and a really rich chocolate flavour. There are hazelnut and walnut varieties too.
