score some brownie points

chocolate brownies - score some brownie pointsAs far as we can remember the only thing that was worth eating in our school canteen was the brownies. Warm, melted gooeyness cheered us all up on many a rainy lunchtime.

Since this summer seems to be a bit of a washout, we’ve been thinking fondly about those brownies.

Fortunately, we’ve found a lovely Welsh company that will deliver a little piece of chocolatey heaven straight to your door… Gower Cottage Brownies.

As well as being a nice treat for yourself, if you’re feeling especially selfless, these also make a great present. They arrive beautifully packaged with raffia and tissue paper and you can ask for your own personalised message to be included. Crumbly on the outside, unbelievably moist on the inside and a really rich chocolate flavour. There are hazelnut and walnut varieties too.

£14.99 for a box of 12 (with free P&P) from www.gowercottagebrownies.co.uk
